From Montreal to Vietnam: Rediscovering Roots and Sharing Riches
Founded by David Ngo, Nam Fruits is rooted in a deep connection to his Vietnamese and Chinese heritage. Growing up in Montreal, Canada, David was inspired by stories of Vietnam, a land of resilience, rich culture, and breathtaking natural beauty. His parents, who left Vietnam in 1979, passed on a blend of traditions that still shapes the company’s values today.
Returning to Vietnam rekindled a profound love for the land his family once left behind. Captivated by its vibrant landscapes, incredible flavours, and the warmth of its people, he found both nostalgia and new inspiration around every corner. That journey inspired him to create a bridge between continents—through the universal language of flavour.
