From Vietnam’s orchards to your pantry: banana chips
Our banana chips start with ripe bananas from the hillsides of Vietnam. They are sliced thin, cooked in coconut oil until golden, and sealed in a resealable 240 g bag. Two ingredients, banana and coconut oil, and nothing added. The result is light, crisp and naturally sweet, with the real taste of banana in every slice.
What our banana chips taste like
Many banana chips sold in Canada are coated in sugar or honey. Ours are not. Because we use ripe fruit, the sweetness comes from the banana itself, and the coconut oil leaves a faint tropical note without making the chips greasy. They are thin enough to shatter, sturdy enough to dip.
How to enjoy them
- In the lunch box: a snack that survives a backpack and does not melt.
- Crushed over oatmeal, pancakes or a smoothie bowl.
- Dipped in melted dark chocolate for a five-minute dessert.
- In a trail mix with our jackfruit chips, almonds and dried mango.
- Sprinkled on curries and coconut-based dishes for a sweet crunch.

Banana chips: your questions
Is there added sugar?
No. Banana and coconut oil are the only ingredients.
Are they fried?
The slices are cooked in coconut oil until crisp, which is what gives them their crunch, then drained so they are not oily to the touch.
How should I store them?
Reseal the bag and keep it in a cool, dry place. The best-before date is printed on the back of every bag.
Are they vegan and gluten-free?
Yes. Two plant ingredients, and the chips are tested gluten-free by SGS.
